Powerpoint - August 2008
THE LAST DAYS
- This know, that in the last days perilous times shall come:
- The 'credit crunch' will hit hard knife crime among teenagers will become a major problem, and the value of human life will be devalued.
- Islam will embark on a crusade of world domination, Iran will try to develop nuclear weapons; Israel will experience isolation among the
nations as Jerusalem becomes the focal point of conflict.
- There will be a proliferation of natural disasters including earthquakes, tsunamis',
hurricanes and floods. Famine and food shortages will become more acute as
crops fail and global market prices soar. Oil will become more valuable
than gold.
- World health problems will increase as new diseases and viruses appear. People will be
afraid to enter hospitals for fear of MRSA and other so called 'hospital
bugs'. The fear of 'Bird flu' spreading in pandemic proportions will be the source of great
alarm.
- Globalism will dominate the political agenda. Europe will emerge as a new force in world
affairs as politicians struggle to find a charismatic leader who can sort
out complicated world problems once and for all.
- Right will be wrong and wrong will be right. Eternal values will diminish and human
rights will be ignored. 'Political correctness' will prevail as
'diversity' and 'tolerance' are exalted over principle and truth.
- The Anglican Church will tear itself apart over the issue of 'gay'
bishops. Replacement Theology will infiltrate every denomination and
spiritual deception will lead many astray.
- Evolution will be promoted as a fact and ecumenical multi-faithism
will be heralded as a desirable goal.
- The Internet will emerge as a vehicle for pornography and as a means of
promoting many undesirable things with little possibility of restraint.
The media will adopt an antichristian agenda, in the face of which, true
faith will suffer ridicule.
- The Lord's Day will lose its importance as church attendances
slump, while leisure parks and garden centres flourish.
- From such a system turn away, for when you shall see these things
come to pass know that the Rapture is indeed near. Even so come quickly
Lord Jesus. Amen.
Colin Le Noury
"Watch ye therefore and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things
that shall come to pass and to stand before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:36).
