Home Jan | Feb | Mar | April | May | June | July | Aug Powerpoint - July 2008In the face of a barrage of attacks against truth in general, and prophetic, Biblical Truth in particular, aided by the apathy and indifference of many evangelical allies, I rejoice to find colleagues in P.W.M.I. maintaining the "thin red line" defending the borders of sound doctrine and faithfully watching on the walls of righteousness. It is encouraging to note the clear call to the whole counsel of God and contending earnestly for the faith, the whole faith which emanates from the meetings and publications of P.W.M.I. It seems to be the case that those who have followed the scriptural template for their eschatology do so for their whole set of doctrinal beliefs. And so it should be, for our pre-millennial stand is the end product of our conviction that the literal interpretation of scripture was always God's intention for us. Today, a strong and balanced stand against apostasy in its varied forms, from ecumenism through "emerging church" to the current diabolical delusion in Florida, is being made by council members and branch secretaries and members throughout P.W.M.I. How grateful we should be that God raised up this end times movement over 90 years ago to proclaim the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus, to prepare His people for their imminent departure to His Glory and to protect the great Biblical Truths that seamlessly lead to the wonderful 'end of days' emphasis God has given to us. Let us be strong together, doubling our efforts of support for the work of P.W.M.I. at Branch and National level. As we concern ourselves with the urgency of preaching the Gospel of Salvation, let us proclaim boldly the need to live serious, sober, prayerful and expectant lives. Practically speaking, why not recommend our magazine to a friend or take out a subscription for a loved one's birthday etc. Or what about taking out your own second subscription so that you can give away a Prophetic Witness per month? B. S. Gemmell "Therefore, comfort one another and edify (or encourage) one another just as you also are doing." (1 Thess. 5v11)
