Powerpoint - January 2008

"Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come,  and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And He saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God." (Revelation 19:7-9).

HERE COMES THE BRIDE!

The anthem of Heaven is that of Redemption. It is the unequivocal and universal testimony of the saints! Indeed, it is the one essential and experiential common denominator.

Redemption is the exclusive theme that dominates the proceedings in the Throne Room of the Almighty. All creatures, great and small, bow before God's presence when the strains of the heavenly cantata reverberate around the dwelling place of the Most High.

The Redeemer and the redeemed take centre stage for the pre-nuptials, filled with awesome anticipation and expectation! The archangel, no less, surrounded and escorted by all ranks of angelic hosts, lifts up his voice and cries with resonant clarity and authority, HERE COMES THE BRIDE!

For the heavenly Bridegroom and the Bride it is the blessed moment of Celebration and Consummation. Regality, dignity and magnanimity are joined in one as the Christ and the Church are ecstatically and eternally united in the bliss of pure love. Love that is supernal and sacramental. Love that is unending, undying and unchanging!

It is the fulfillment of the designs of Deity and the dreams of humanity as the REDEEMER and the REDEEMED enter into the eternal joys of intimacy and sublimacy.
