I have to say that thus far we have found it a very frustrating task. Our Christian friends keep assuring us that 'the Lord has just the right place in store for us.' Nevertheless, we experience much disappointment and occasionally feel quite depressed. The ultimate reality for every believer of course, regardless of our personal circumstances, is that Jesus is preparing a place for each one, which secures our future for all eternity. There will be no mortgage payments to worry about. No decorating, or alterations to contemplate. No solicitor's fees or stamp duty to pay. And we need have no worries about what the neighbours will be like! Furthermore,
we won't bother ourselves with packing and unpacking, or booking the
removal van; and, as a bonus, we will even get a brand new body which,
unlike this one of mine, will never wear out. Hallelujah! Byron Jones
