Greetings in our Saviours name.

If only I had known! If only I had done something sooner! If only I could have that time again! How many times have we thought this? I am sure that most, if not all of us, have had times when we wished that we had done something differently. There is, in all probability, a number of Members of Parliament who wished they had done something differently with their expenses claims, but it was all too easy to do just what they liked at the time.

The Financial Crisis

We were giving out leaflets advertising one of our meetings at The Bridge at the time when the present economic crisis was beginning. A Christian went past and said, 'Everyone will turn to Christ now because the system is being shaken and they will realise that Christ is the answer.' 'Not necessarily,' I replied. 'They may turn to antichrist.' He thought I was being a bit defeatist, but a study of history shows that it was out of the economic crisis of 1930s that Hitler arose in Germany.
